as the semester slowly makes its way over the hill i begin to wonder -- what have i learned?
i notice that my peers' vocabulary...even from the ones who would never say nor text words that were not found in MY First Dic-tion-ary started using fancy words with French origins.
What is my writing class doing? I guess I'm just too busy reading old texts describing ancient buildings and getting embarassed that I can't distinguish a trigylph from a philaster.
Yes. I am bitter...and under -learned.

Oh no. Remember our conversations about the destruction of our vocabulary senior year? Like how every sentence would be punctuated by... yeah.
I'm sure you're not under-learned, and they're [the words] just pretty, after all.
But more importantly, we haven't talked in forever. I'm totally calling you up randomly one day!
words?! dude at least you dont have to learn legal jargon plus keep up with scottish/british slang! hahaha :P
